Write for Wed to Wanderlust
Guest Post for Us
We publish a limited number of outside contributors each quarter — real family travel experience, told honestly, for parents planning their next trip.
Currently accepting a limited number of pitches per quarterWhy write for us
Wed to Wanderlust reaches families actively planning international trips with kids — not casual browsers. Here’s what a placement gets you:
- A byline and one linked author bio on a published post
- Exposure to 4200+ monthly readers researching real trips, not just dreaming about them
- A site that shows up across Hawaii, Southeast Asia, Europe, and South Pacific family travel searches
- An audience with genuine overlap into baby/toddler travel, a category most family travel sites underserve
What we’re looking for
Pitches should fall into one of our core content pillars — this is what keeps the site focused and what keeps your post findable long after it publishes.
We’re not currently looking for general travel content without a family angle, sponsored placements disguised as editorial, or topics we’ve already covered in depth (check our destination archive first).
Submission requirements
- 750+ words minimum
- At least 4 original photos, 1080px wide, that you have the right to publish
- One personal link in your bio (blog, site, or social) — set to nofollow
- Content published exclusively on Wed to Wanderlust — no syndication elsewhere
- No undisclosed affiliate links or promotional placements
- Our editorial team may request edits for voice, accuracy, or structure before publishing
Ready to pitch?
Skip the full draft for now — send a short pitch first. It’s faster for you and lets us give you a real answer quickly.
- Your proposed topic and a 2–3 line outline
- Why this fits Wed to Wanderlust’s audience specifically
- A link to your own site or social so we can see your work
- One or two writing samples, if you have them
We review pitches on a rolling basis and respond within 20 business days. Because we only accept a limited number each quarter, a “not right now” isn’t necessarily a “no” — feel free to pitch again for a future quarter.
